AN/VIC-1 AND AN/VIC-2(V) and (M) INTERCOM SYSTEMS BACK IN PRODUCTION

NAPCO International has been awarded contracts by BAE for AN/VIC-1, the USMC for AN/VIC-2(V) Systems and a foreign government for AN/VIC-2(M). All three are currently in full rate production. In addition, NAPCO is producing a new interface cable that allows both the AN/VIC-1 and AN/VIC-2 (V) & (M) to accept and use the Bose Active Noise Reduction (ANR) Helmets. Napco can build the ANR capability into the system for both AN/VIC-1(N) and AN/VIC-2(V) at time of order. The AN/VIC-2(M) has the ANR function built in. This is a significant step towards more effective vehicle operations as well as greatly reducing our Marines/Soldiers hearing loss. Also, NAPCO has completed the integration of the Bose ANR Helmet System with a Gentex Aerospace microphone. This new microphone configuration is unique in that it combines ground combat vehicle and aerospace technologies.
